The Effect of Environmental Variables on the Distribution of some Submerged Aquatic Plants Eastern Al-Hammar and Al-Chebiyesh

Abstract This study aims to determine some physical and chemical factors their impact on the abundance distribution of submersible aquatic plants for four selected stations in southern marshes, two Eastern Hammar marshes (Al-Burga Al-Sada) Al-Chebiyesh (Abu-Sobat Al-Baghdadia). Water plant samples were collected seasonally during year 2018. The water temperature, electrical conductivity, depth estimated variables, dissolved oxygen, nitrate, phosphate concentration as well variables samples, estimation biomass, percentage vegetation cover, frequency submerged species. results showed that highest temperature was 34.45 °C Abu Sobat station summer, while lowest recorded at 10.85 Al-Burga winter. depths winter Al-Sada Al-Baghdadia summer. value oxygen 4 mg/L 9. species, which are most present widespread various stations, includedCeratophyllum demersum, Myriophyllum spicatum, Najas marina, Potamogeton perfoliatus . similarity between different also calculated.
